Family size (4-5 people):
2.5 cups flour (wheat/white ratio to taste)
5 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp sugar

1/4 cup oil
1 egg
2.25 - 2.5 cups milk

Mix dry ingredients. Mix liquid ingredients. Combine, mixing until slightly lumpy. Yes, there should be lumps. Cook so that on the first side, the holes formed by the popping bubbles just start to not fill back in, at the same time as the bottom turns golden brown. Flip. Finish cooking. Serve.
